Provide a case study
Is there a major piece of research or collaboration at your university that you would like to highlight? Why not create a case study to share what you and your colleagues have been doing and the impact of those activities?
What we are looking for
An ideal case study would highlight collaborations with other SES member universities, or institutions and organisations in the south east and other regions. We are particularly interested in case studies that:
- Show how the impact of our members’ research is felt far beyond the southeast of England.
- Demonstrate how our members are supporting disadvantaged communities within their catchment area
- Show how our members contribute to and make use of state-of-the art research equipment and infrastructure network for the UK
- How institutions are helping to support researchers to manage their data effectively and are aiding collaboration
A case study would usually be at least 700 words in length and would have the following characteristics:
Essential
- Summary – a brief description of the project
- Background – how the project started
- Benefits – what difference did it make?
- Contact info – a contact name and email address to which further enquiries can be directed
- Project images – hi resolution, colour images always welcome!
Optional
- Quantifiable benefits – savings / return on investment data
- Learning points – some bullet points outlining lessons for others
- Testimonials
If you have a case study that you would like to write, please contact Rosie Niven to discuss it further.
